The City of Henderson, Nevada, is requesting professional planning and design services for the Black Mountain Nature Preserve Project. The 1,340 acre site is located south and west of Horizon Ridge Parkway in Henderson, Nevada. The majority of the site will remain undisturbed with improvements including approximately 5-7 miles of scenic trails and a trailhead, scenic overlooks, a parking lot and restroom building, and numerous interpretive areas. Potential improvements include a zip line and ropes course.
