**Once an ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR is released for bidding, bidders may begin working on their response and uploading required documents without submitting their bid early. The NGEM system allows for bidders to save their work. Please make use of this capability in order to give your company enough time to review your response and upload any other documents on the day the ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR closes so that you do not miss the cut-off time.

**Once the ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR closes and the responses are unsealed electronically, the list of bidders/responders will be immediately posted online and available to the public for viewing. This document can be accessed by clicking on Closed Bid Opportunities, selecting the specific opportunity, and scrolling down to Bid Documents. The Bid Tabulation document will be available for review there.

Description of Work: This is a prevailing wage project. Install a modular office (40'x8'). The modular includes one office and restrooms. Plumbing, mechanical and electrical work will be required.

The scope of work also includes two alternates:

Alternate # 1 is the customized conex storage unit installation.

Alternate #2 is the standard conex storage unit. Both conex storages will require electrical work.


Contractor/Modular office shall provide (and Conex provider if included) is responsible for any structural engineering and/or calculations required to ensure proper foundations, materials, pad, piers, and seismic anchors are provided for the installation of the modular office (and Conex boxes).

Estimated Cost Range: $415,159 to $515,159

Liquidated Damages: $500/day



Special Licenses or Qualifications: The project scope that includes furnishing and installing a modular office (defined as a commercial coach in Chapter 489 of the Nevada Revised Statue) will occur under the jurisdiction of the Department of Business and Industry, Nevada Housing Division, Manufactured Housing. Bidders shall include in their proposals all costs related to permitting and inspections as required under the jurisdiction. The project awardee will be responsible to ensure manufacturers, subcontractors and activities related to furnishing and installing the proposed commercial coach comply with NRS 489 in its entirety.



Special Considerations: This project will require power connections. NV Energy plans are attached in the bid package.



Required Insurance if Awarded: Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, Workers' Compensation, Contractor's Pollution Liability and Builders Risk Insurance will be required. Please refer to the TEMPLATE-Owner-Contractor Construction Agreement on the Attachments tab for limits and additional information.


Completion of Work: Subject to change by Owner, Work is scheduled to begin on "October 2, 2023" and shall be fully complete by "February 2, 2024."
