Notes	This work shall include furnishing all labor, material, and equipment to complete the BOULDER CITY WATER FILTRATION PLANT ASBESTOS AND LEAD ABATEMENT project as described in the specifications. Work includes removal and proper disposal of asbestos containing materials and lead based paint removal and encapsulation in the historic water filtration plant. All work shall be performed in accordance with The Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties, U.S. Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation, the Clark County Department of Environment and Sustainability (DES), Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) regulations. The Contractor must be EPA certified for lead abatement and Nevada Occupational Safety and Health Administration (NVOSHA) certified for asbestos abatement. Asbestos and lead abatement shall be performed using methods that protect the historic building materials.
