The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) has issued this Request for Proposals (RFP) with the sole purpose and intent of obtaining sealed proposals (Proposal) from qualified financial institutions (Respondents) for a variety of banking services for the RTAA. The requested services include the following: (1) general banking services and (2) credit card processing/merchant services. This RFP is designed to allow Respondents the opportunity to submit Proposals for both or one of the services as listed.
The RTAA intends to obtain the highest level of service and the lowest costs associated with banking services as well as to
enhance operational efficiencies. The RTAA is interested in utilizing the best current and forward-looking technology.
The RTAA shall be contracting for the each of the requested services for a four plus (4+) year beginning February 1, 2023, and ending June 30, 2028, to align with the RTAA’s fiscal year. Further, at the sole discretion of the RTAA, two (2) additional, two-year extensions shall be permitted with the same terms and conditions of the original contract, or as amended and agreed to by both Parties.
The successful Respondent(s) must agree to fix contract fees for at least the first four-year period. If the successful Respondent(s) intends to revise its fee schedule after the initial period, it must give written notice to the RTAA at least 90 days in advance of any fee change. Fees may be changed only on the Agreement anniversary date. These fees are subject to negotiation and approval by the RTAA and may not exceed the annual consumer price index-urban (CPI-U) for the most recently available 12-month trailing period.
