SCOPE: It is the intent of this formal Request for Proposals (RFP) to receive Proposals from qualified Proposers to provide a Pedestrian Collision Avoidance Equipment System (System) that will conform to the needs of the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) and its fixed route contractors, and be suitable for continuous use in transit vehicles. The product(s) provided shall be new, unused, the current production model and conform to the specifications outlined herein. Project planning, technical manuals, training, warranty, installation, and acceptance testing are included in this project.




The primary objective of this Project is to provide a Pedestrian Collision Avoidance System that will conform to the needs of the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) and its Fixed Route contractor and be suitable for continuous use in transit vehicles. The product(s) provided shall be new, unused, the current production model and conform to the specifications outlined herein. Project planning, technical manuals, training, warranty, installation, and acceptance testing are included in this project.




FEDERAL FUNDS: This Project is funded in whole or in part by federal funds. The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has established a mandatory DBE goal of 10.2% of the contract amount.
