This RFQ serves as a notice of Nevada's desire to contract with partner vendors who can provide K-12 Computer Science (CS) curriculum and instructional materials beginning September 2023. NDE is committed to ensuring that every classroom has access to high-quality instructional materials. To support local school districts in their efforts to meet the requirements of ESSA, NDE intends to facilitate the review of K-12 Computer Science instructional materials in partnership with local school districts. This partnership will seek to curate an approved list of K-12 CS materials that align to the Nevada Academic Content Standards (NVACS) for Computer Science and are organized into evidence-based categories to facilitate selection and implementation by districts, charter organizations, and schools. Providers/Publishers shall complete the the attached RFQ and submit their proposal in digital format to Dr. Jaci McCune at jacqueline.mccune@doe.nv.gov by 5:00 pm PST on August 28, 2023.
