The purpose of amendment 0001 is to add Attachment - Questions and Answers and and add Appendixes A,B,and C.
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, has a requirement for Police Psychological Assessments (PPA). The Contractor shall provide all required psychological assessment services for incumbent VA Police officers employed by the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS). The psychological assessments shall be performed in accordance with the guidelines designed to determine an officer’s emotional and mental stability of conducting designated functional requirements essential to the duties of a VA Police Officer and an officer’s suitability to carry a firearm. These guidelines are consistent with VA Handbook 0720, Procedures to Arm Department of Veterans Affairs Police, dated January 24, 2000. These standards are based on 5 C.F.R. § 339.301.
The solicitation is set aside to Small Businesses (SB). The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 621112, size standard $13.5M. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Carefully read FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors and VAAR 852.273-73 Evaluation - Health-Care Resources in order to respond to this RFQ. Failure to do so may eliminate your response from being considered for award. IAW FAR 16.504, the Government intends to award a Single Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract as a result of this solicitation.
