Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office 21 is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of Non-Emergency Special Mode Transportation for VA beneficiaries in the VA Southern Nevada Heath Care System. The proposed NAICS Code is 485991, Special Needs Transportation. This program will provide all, non-emergency, special mode ground transportation services as identified within the performance work statement (PWS) for patients who are beneficiaries of the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHCS), and its associated healthcare facilities. Contractor will transport ambulatory and non-ambulatory beneficiaries on gurneys, stair chairs, litters, wheelchairs, secure car w/attendant, alternate safe beneficiary handling equipment, and/or Geri chairs to and from and vice-versa. Contractor shall provide on an as needed basis all transport vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, transportation, fuel, equipment, reports, and anything else necessary to successfully furnish non-emergency special mode ground transportation service as identified.
