Summary:

Carson City is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the Fire Station #51 Pavement Replacement Project. This project includes removing and replacing the pavement, constructing P.C.C. curbs, remove and replacing pedestrian ramps, constructing sidewalk, and painting striping for the Fire Station #51 parking lot. Sealed bids must be submitted in accordance with the bid documents, drawings and plans, specifications and special conditions related hereto.

The contractor will be required to maintain parking either in the main parking lot located on the northeast side of the Fire Station building (3” AC on 6” Base Section of Plans) or at the employee parking lot located on the south side of the Fire Station building (4” AC on 8” Base Section of Plans) at all times. This will require phasing of both demolition and paving operations. The city will allow for parking on compacted base if requested by the contractor; however, ADA routes shall be accommodated by the contractor as much as possible. The contractor shall account for this in the provided bid prices.
