The City of Las Vegas (“Owner”) hereby invites interested persons or organizations, qualified as a construction manager/general contractor (“Applicants”), to submit written Proposals for the performance of construction manager at risk services for the DPS Unit 5 & 6 Restroom Addition Project (“Project”). Unit 5 & 6 at the City's detention facility will get individual restroom units installed in each cell within the facility. Currently, there are gang restrooms located at the center of the facility that will be converted to a new shower area and office space for the rest of the space. A wall will be built to divide the unit into two separate units, with a reconfiguration of the security control room with the addition of a restroom to this location.

PWP No: [ CL-2023-355 ] Estimated Project Cost: $6,000,000 to $8,000,000.

Preconstruction Services shall include constructability reviews, construction cost estimates, advice, project analysis and feedback regarding materials, methods, systems, schedule, labor and other conditions affecting construction and subcontractor selection for development and construction of the Project.

Preconstruction services are anticipated to begin 7/2023 and construction is anticipated to begin 10/2023 with estimated completion 4/2024.
