This project is the for the acquisition of a virtual reality training system for the University Police Department, Northern Command.
The proposed VR system will be used by the University Police Department, Northern Command and other law enforcement agencies in the region. An inclusive system is needed, multi-user capability, and the ability to update, acquire new training scenarios over time, and the ability to create our own scenarios. It must be equipped with law enforcement specific and de-escalation trainings. It must be able to be transported to various sites and must be compatible with existing NSHE computer systems. The University of Nevada, Reno, Police Department, Northern Command is seeking competitive proposals for a turnkey law enforcement virtual reality (VR) training simulator. Specifically, de-escalation possibilities and crisis intervention training options are needed. ****SEE ATTACHED SCOPE OF WORK**** |
