The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) has issued this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) with the sole purpose and intent of obtaining Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) submittals from qualified firms (Respondents) to provide design services and related support for Airfield Signage Replacement and Taxiway Renaming Project (Project).
If awarded, a Professional Services Agreement (Contract) to provide these Services will be effective on the date a Contract is approved by the RTAA Board of Trustees, signed by all required parties, and filed with the RTAA’s Purchasing and Materials Management Division.
As is more fully explained in
Section 11, Evaluation Criteria
of this RFQ, an award, if made, will be made to the best overall Respondent whose SOQ is most advantageous to the RTAA taking into consideration the evaluation factors set forth in this RFQ. The RTAA reserves the right to not award a Contract for any work herein; issuance of this RFQ solicitation does not guarantee any subsequent award. Furthermore, the RTAA reserves the right to hire any additional consultants as needed at its discretion.

Mailed and hand delivered SOQs shall be enclosed within another envelope with the notation " SOQ ENCLOSED" on the face of the outside envelope or package, and received at the following address:

Late SOQs will not be accepted and will be automatically disqualified from further consideration. No SOQ, whether mailed or hand delivered, shall be considered if it has not been received at the RTAA Purchasing and Materials Management Division, 2770 Vassar Street, Reno, NV, on or before the SOQ deadline. Postmarks do not qualify as delivery. The clock at Purchasing Office is the RTAA’s official clock; timeliness of SOQs will be determined using only this clock. Respondents assume full responsibility for timely delivery of its SOQ at the specified location. Respondents assume the risk for the method of delivery chosen. The RTAA assumes no responsibility for delays caused by any delivery service. Oral, telephonic, faxed, or emailed SOQs are invalid and will not receive consideration.
