This work shall include furnishing all labor, materials and equipment to

complete the project LEND-A-HAND ABC COTTAGE RENOVATION 2022 as described in the

specifications and shown on the plans. This work shall also include removal and proper disposal

of all items inside and around the existing facility, remodel of the existing building, protection of

the existing roofing system, new sidewalk, new landscaping and patio improvements as shown

on the plans. The Contractor awarded the project shall be responsible for obtaining the no cost

permits for the project. The Contractor awarded the project shall be responsible for the patio

cover design and applying for and obtaining the no cost permit for the cover.

This is a Federally funded project, Community Development Block Grant. The Bidders and the

Contractor awarded the project are required to adhere to the Contract Provisions and submit the

required Federal Documents included with these contract documents. Failure to submit the

required documents with the bid are grounds for rejection of the bid. Bidders are not required

to claim Section 3 Preference, but the bidder recommended for award of the contract must be

able to demonstrate good faith efforts to have made attempts to meet the Section 3 goals

imposed by HUD if they do not claim preference. Regardless of whether Section 3 Preference is

claimed or not, bidders are required to submit the Federal documents with their bid.
