OPPORTUNITIES DESCRIPTION

Construction Service for Project No. 593-22-101, Upgrade ATS Controls Bldg. 3 at VAMC North Las Vegas, NV.

This is a pre-solicitation announcement only. Solicitation documents will be available on or about January 12, 2023. The solicitation will contain all necessary proposal instruction.

Proposals will only be requested and accepted from contractors who were awarded a Veterans Integrated Service Network 21 (VISN 21) Multiple-Award Construction Contract (MACC) from Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21).

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $39.5M. IAW FAR 36.204(c), the magnitude of the project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.

Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 21 will be issuing a request for proposal for a general construction contractor to provide professional construction services and expertise to Upgrade Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) Controls in Building #3 at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS) in North Las Vegas, Nevada, 89086. The intent of this project is to expand the Emergency Systems controls capacity to support future expansion of the facility. The current systems at the VASNHS main campus Emergency Building #3 supports 64 ATS and at its capacity. The campus is continuously growing in size and demands. Therefore, the campus will require additional controls capacity to support the growth. The intent of this project s expansion is to provide capacity for up to 128+ connected devices. The project has been designed with a capacity for 256MB systems that will allow for any additional future expansion.

Work must include, but not limited to the following:
The Contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, administrative support, and any necessary professional engineering services required for the construction to Upgrade ATS Controls Bldg. 3 IAW the SOW. The duration of this project is approximately 90 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued.
